DMCA & Copyright Policy
How to report a copyright concern and what information to include in your notice.
Last updated: 1 October 2026Respect for copyright
ODI World Cup 2027 respects copyright and reviews reports about material published on this website. This page provides a route for copyright complaints, including notices under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) where applicable.
Photographs, videos, logos and other third-party material may be protected by their owners’ rights. Attribution alone does not grant permission to reuse a work. Our independent editorial coverage does not imply affiliation with the ICC or any rights holder.
Send a copyright notice
Copyright owners or their authorised representatives can send a written notice to worldcup2027odi.com@proton.me. Use the subject “Copyright / DMCA notice” and include:
- Your physical or electronic signature, and confirmation that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner.
- A clear identification of the copyrighted work. For multiple works on this site, provide a representative list and supporting source information.
- The exact URL of each allegedly infringing item on worldcup2027odi.com, with enough detail to locate the image, video or text.
- Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address so that we can contact you.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorised to act for the owner of the allegedly infringed exclusive right.
Consider any applicable permission, licence or legal exception before making a claim. Do not include passwords, payment information or unrelated personal documents.
How reports are handled
We review notices, may request clarification, and remove or disable access to material where appropriate. Where a valid statutory notice applies, we will act expeditiously in accordance with applicable law. Incomplete reports may require additional information before the material or claim can be assessed.
When relevant, we may notify the contributor and share the notice or necessary details with the affected party or advisers. We may preserve records needed to investigate or resolve the matter. See our Privacy Policy for information about handling correspondence.
This email is our copyright contact. Publishing this policy does not represent that we have registered a designated DMCA agent or establish eligibility for a statutory safe harbour.
If material was removed in error
If your material was removed because of a mistake or misidentification, you may contact worldcup2027odi.com@proton.me with evidence explaining the issue. Where the DMCA counter-notification procedure applies, a counter-notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the removed material and its location before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled because of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address and telephone number, together with consent to the jurisdiction of the U.S. Federal District Court for the district where your address is located; or, if outside the United States, any judicial district where the service provider may be found. You must also agree to accept service of process from the original notice sender or their agent.
We may forward a valid counter-notice to the original claimant. Where the statutory procedure applies, material may be restored after 10–14 business days unless notice of a qualifying court action is received, subject to the requirements of applicable law. A counter-notice can have legal consequences; seek qualified advice if you are unsure whether to submit one.
Misuse and repeated infringement
Knowingly misrepresenting infringement or removal by mistake may result in liability under applicable law. This process is for copyright concerns; ordinary editorial disagreements should be sent as correction requests.
We may remove repeatedly infringing material and restrict or end a contributor’s publishing access where appropriate. We do not currently offer public upload accounts.
